Somatic Therapy
Releasing the Light beneath the Wound
You are not here to be fixed, but to be revealed.
“We’re all here seeking out totality, searching for wholeness.”
Somatic therapy is a return to the body—the place where our stories and struggles live, and where healing can truly begin. The body is the place where unspoken wounds often live for years, or which perhaps have been speaking to us in the form of physical pain or illness, even if we haven’t always been listening.
In a session, we work gently and intuitively with the body—through breath, subtle movement, body-based awareness, and guided presence. Rather than analyzing the mind, we listen to the language of the body: sensations, tension, impulses, and emotions that rise and unfold in their own time. There may be moments of stillness, hands-on support (with consent), or guided inquiry. Each session is unique, guided by what your body is ready to reveal, release, or remember.
Rooted in the body, Restored in the soul
Somatic healing is not only physical—it is soulful. As we begin to listen to the body with compassion, something deeper awakens. Beneath the tension, the grief, or the fear, there is often a quiet light waiting to be remembered. This work gently restores the connection between body, heart, and spirit—reminding us that healing is not about becoming someone new, but about returning to the wholeness that has always lived within. In this way, somatic therapy becomes a sacred practice—one that allows us to move through the world with more presence, more softness, and more light.
Somatic Work might resonate if any feel familiar:
You feel disconnected from your body.
You carry unspoken tension or grief.
Talk therapy helped… but only to a point.
You’re tired of trying to make sense of it all.
You long for deeper peace—without explanation.
You want to feel whole, present, and real again.
You’re curious about what your body is trying to say.
You’re ready to listen to the part of you that knows.
Here to Hold your Questions
-
Somatic therapy may be supportive if you're navigating stress, trauma, physical tension, grief, emotional overwhelm, or simply feel disconnected from yourself. This work meets you where you are, with gentleness and care.
-
Each session is entirely customized to your needs. We may begin with simple grounding, gentle breathwork, or noticing sensation. You’ll be guided intuitively through subtle movement, somatic awareness, and stillness. There is no pressure to perform or explain—this is a space of deep presence and trust. You are always in choice. Hands-on support may be offered, but only with full consent. All of you is welcome here.
-
My approach is intuitive, relational, and deeply grounded in presence. Rather than following a set formula, I listen—to your body, your breath, and the quiet wisdom that arises within the session itself. This is a co-creative space, where your own truth leads the way.
-
Sessions are typically 60 - 90 minutes, and can be held confidentially via online sessions or in person (in Curaçao).
-
Every session begins with presence—and with trust. This work unfolds only at the pace that feels right for you. All aspects of the session, including any form of physical touch, are always offered with clear, informed consent and deep respect for your boundaries. Confidentiality is held with the utmost care. This is your space—grounded in safety, choice, and the quiet assurance that nothing will ever be forced, rushed, or assumed.
-
You don’t need to bring anything other than yourself. Wear comfortable clothes you can move and breathe in. You may wish to bring water, a journal, or anything that helps you feel grounded and safe.
-
Somatic work can feel subtle or profound. After a session, you may experience greater ease, clarity, or emotional release. I always recommend leaving time afterward for rest, reflection, or gentle movement to support integration.
“The body holds what the soul remembers.
In stillness, it speaks.
In presence, it softens.
And through it, the light returns.”
